Bio's are hard to write so here are some facts:
- I was born in Toronto, Canada.
- I love theatre and film.
- I'm a writer. I'm a director. I'm an actor.
- I don't like watermelons.
After finishing my undergraduate degree in Early Modern Studies and English (Dalhousie University/University of King's College), I taught English for a year in South Korea.
I am currently pursuing an MFA in Dramatic Writing at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. In this program, I'm being trained in playwriting, screenwriting and TV writing. It's fun, it's challenging, I've written more in the past year than I have in the past decade.
I want to create new works that highlight our multicultural landscape. There are many different people with interesting stories that need to be told

I am from Wolfville, Nova Scotia - a Maritimer born and raised.
For my first degree, I did a double major in History and English with a minior in film studies at Dalhousie University/University of King's College. I specialized in African history and wrote papers on the colonial administration of Angola, the decolonization of Angola, and the Angolan civil war. I also wrote about human traffiking and hope to one day direct a film on this topic.
I'm now pursuing a second degree in Film Production at Ryerson Unveristy. I'm a director and an editor (soon to be cinematographer).
I consider myself a global citizen. I want my work to explore and reflect our global landscape.
